The California Lyme Disease Association (CALDA) was originally founded
as the Lyme Disease Resource Center in 1990 as a nonprofit education and communications center that acts as a central voice
for all tick-borne disease issues in California and a supporting voice for national issues. Through advocacy and education
of the public and health care professionals, CALDA seeks to prevent tick-borne diseases, encourage early diagnosis, and improve
the quality of health care provided to those with tick-borne diseases.
